Tokens for one hour of lighting  cost £3 each or four for £10. They are available from the bar in Fulbourn Institute Sports and Social Club. (While the Institue is closed because of COVID restrictions they can be obtained from Mike Humphreys -Davies:  22 The Haven CB21 5BG mikehdavies@me.com )

The light controls are in the white cupboard on court 1. When a token is inserted 00:00 goes to 60:00 on the timer which immediately starts counting down until it reaches  zero when the lights  go off. The court 3 lights are not controlled via the timer position the switch DOWN to use and UP before you leave.

Tokens can be added at any time before they go off, the additional time will be added and the lights will stay on. If you were to add a token just after the lights went off, it would still start counting down but the lights wouldn't come on again until after they had cooled down sufficiently (? 15mins). Once the lights are back on  the timer continues to count down to zero when the lights turn off.

NB When the  key is being used ( club sessions and matches) it is important that  the display on the box shows 00:00 (as in the photo) when the lights are turned off. If it "clicks" back and displays "Free"  even though the lights are off, once they have cooled down they will come back on and remain on whilst the timer is active (4:30 - 10:30pm). This will continue every day until they are switched off properly. To change from "Free" to 00:00  reinsert the key and turn them off again correctly. 

The lights automatically turn off at 10.30pm (to limit disturbance to nearby residents)
