MAPLE CROSS TENNIS LESSONS, DENHAM WAY.

Lessons will run for 55 minutes, with a 5 minute buffer period in between lessons. 

There will be no more than 8 children per coach. 

The courts are surrounded by a large field, so parents may stay to watch as long as social distance is maintained.

There will be a toilet and hand washing facility available thorughout, but it will be the parents responsibility to take children to use the toilet if needed.

There is a car park onsite. 

If you or your child require a racket please let us know in advance so we can sanitise appropriate equipment in advance.

Group Descriptions

 

Family Tennis - A chance for the whole family to play together. An informal coaching session with fun for all the family!

Inclusive Tennis - These are for children with any kind of special education need or impairment to come and try tennis!

Under 5's - Children aged 4 & 5 who are new to the sport. Hand eye co ordination and the basics of the game will be taught.

Under 8's beginners  - Children aged 6-8 who are new or beginners to the sport. Hand eye co ordination and the basics of the game will be taught

Under 8's intermediate - Children aged 6-8 who have played the game before and have a basic understanding of the main shots, ready to start more advanced technique and tactical areas of the game.

Under 8's advanced - Children aged 6-8 who have played the game. for some time and who are able to compete at a match play level.

Under 9's - Children aged 8-9 who are either beginners or in the early stages of learning. All major shots will be taught, alongside footwork and tactics.

Under 9's advanced - Children aged 8-9 who have been receiving coaching for some time and have the mastered the main shots.

Under 10's Children aged 9-10 who are either new to the game or may not have played for some time. Focussing on techinique and footwork

Under 10's advanced Children and 9-10 who have been receiving coaching for some time and ahve mastered the main shots

Over 11's children up to the age of 16 who are either new to the game or havent played for a while. All major shots, footwork and some matchplay will be covered. 

Adults - A group for 16 and upwards, all ages and standards welcome and further groups can be put on once we have a good idea of numbers and standards.
