Welcome to Glamorgan Lawn Tennis And Croquet Club
Use of courts for tournaments and league matches
Please note that on Sunday 23rd March, Sunday 11th May and Sunday 8th June the courts will be in use for National Club League matches.
On each date this will run from 12 noon until all the matches are finished, although one court should become available from about 2pm.
Please be aware that all courts will be unavailable to members at these times,
but people are very welcome to come down and watch the tennis if they wish.
Also, due to men's league matches, please note that two courts will be unavailable for approximately 3 hours at the following times:
Sunday 25th May 2025 from 9.30 am.
Sunday 15th June 2025 from 9.30 am.
Sunday 22nd June 2025 from 9.30 am.
Sunday 29th June 2025 from 9.30 am.
Sunday 13th July 2025 from 9.30 am.
Please note that one court will still be available for members use and if any members wish to come down and support, they will be very welcome!

Glamorgan Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (Merthyr Mawr) has three all weather tennis courts and two newly relaid croquet courts. The club is located near the picturesque village of Merthyr Mawr, Bridgend.
The club is an LTA registered venue which means that we have the following:
- A safeguarding Policy
- A Diversity & Inclusion Policy
- A trained Welfare Officer (Mike Gatt - 07837 921011
- We undertake an annual risk assessment
Tennis
While we do not operate a booking system, we have certain times reserved for specific club sessions:
Monday - social from 1.30pm & ladies night from 5pm
Tuesday - Free use of courts all day and evening for members
Wednesday - Mixed doubles (all courts) from 5pm
Thursday - men's night (all courts) from 5pm
Friday – Free use of courts all day and evening for members
Saturday - Free use of courts all day and evening for members
Sunday - social and family tennis from 3pm
If the courts are busy and there are members waiting, please restrict your play to a maximum of 30 minutes.

Croquet
Monday - Club afternoon from 1:30pm
Tuesday - Club Afternoon from 1:30pm
Wednesday - Club evening from 5:30pm
Please limit games to 14 point (AC) or 13 point (GC) to allow as many members to play as possible.
