Welcome to Great Bridgeford Lawn Tennis Club

Play Tennis at Great Bridgeford

Great Bridgeford Tennis Club is based at Great Bridgeford Village Hall in the heart of Staffordshire. We are a small and friendly club offering tennis for all standards on two hard courts.

Currently, the club provides social and competitive Tennis for all ages and standards, fields a number of teams in the Staffordshire Tennis Leagues and has some very successful junior players. Junior tennis is at the heart of the club and strong links exist between the club and many local schools through our coaching partners "Impact Tennis."  New members of any age and standard are always welcome and no previous playing experience is necessary.

The club is actively working towards attaining “Tennismark” accreditation which is the quality standard for tennis clubs and is a LTA registered.

Club sessions for senior members are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm, and Saturday at 2pm. There is also a ladies afternoon on Wednesdays starting at 1.30 pm.  Players of all abilities are welcome to join in.  At present there are no set junior club times. The toilets and kitchen facilities in the Village Hall can usually be accessed during club sessions.

Floodlights are used on club nights when required and they are available at other times with tokens which last 30 minutes. Apply further tokens before the lights go out if you wish to continue play.  The lights should not be used after 10 pm.  Tokens are available for purchase at £2 and can be obtained by contacting Brendan Sullivan.

Following guidance from the LTA, the Club has restarted for both singles and doubles play as from the 1st June. Coaching also has restarted .  All County League matches have been cancelled. Club tournaments have been suspended. The situation is being kept under review.
