Early this morning Election Supervisor, David Baines reported the count for the election of our new committee:

61 members voted electing existing committee members Arthur, Annie, Penny, Ali and Rob and  new member Clare Parker.  Congratulations to them all.

(Malcolm Prue and Peter Lawton have served on the committee for two years and did not stand for election.   Thank you, gentlemen, for your support over the last two years.)

Thanks also to candidates Max Pratt, Michael Martin and Caroline Harper who put themselves forward but did not garner sufficient votes to win.   61 members participated in the election, casting a total of 325 votes.

The new committee is inviting Max Pratt and Caroline Harper to join them.   (Michael Martin has had to decline the opportunity to participate in the committee).  Max has kindly accepted and we think Caroline's awar on holiday but we hope she will also accept. Our first task will be the appointment of officers (Chair, Treasurer, etc).

While the committee has the formal responsibility for the running the club, in practice the club needs the active participation of many members to make it one of the best clubs in Norfolk.
