If you are not already, we would like you to become a member of the Club!   So what do you get when we take your money?  

• As a member you can play/book a court through Clubspark without any further charge.    The courts are unlocked and there are always balls of middling quality in the ball boxes on the courts and junior rackets hanging on the fences for anyone to use. New Balls can be purchased from Clare Parker - 07798755969  At a Club session there is a charge of £1 which goes towards the cost of the balls & coffee per session.
• All members of the Club are also invited by the Club to become British Tennis Members - this is free and entitles you to enter the Wimbledon ballot on the LTA website and also to purchase tickets for other LTA events & goods during the year.
• Receive updates of the programme,  invitations to tournaments, competitions, pizza parties and Christmas parties.
• Before, after and during play members may freely use the facilities (toilets, bar) of the adjacent Great Massingham Social Club when it's open - Wed-Fri 7-11pm Sat 3.45 - 11 pm Sun 12 noon to 6.30pm.   Members can use the new Tennis Shelter and there is a key in there for the changing room toilets which you can use when the Social Club is shut.
• Friends and relatives from outside area who come to stay with you are welcome to join you on court and participate in Club Sessions.

That's the formal stuff, but the reality is that if you come along regularly you get to meet a lot of nice people,  make friends. become more skillful and fitter which is all a bonus! And if that's not enough to open your wallet, come along to one of the Club Sessions and try us out.

Membership Fees

Our annual membership fees for 2023/24 run from 1st May - There is no additional joining fee. (See the Home page: cake at the club sessions is the way to get on.)  We would rather have a lot of members having a great time than a small number who need a large mortgage to join.    

Due for Payment from 1st May 2023

• Adult: £40
• Junior of secondary school age: £12
• Junior of primary school age: £8
• Family membership (2 Adults and children up to 25 yrs of age in full-time education):  £85

Membership fees are very important to us.   We spend a lot of money maintaining the fencing and the courts and it all has to be paid for.  The next project is to raise the funds for additional courts for the club.

Enjoy: Tennis is your sport so enjoy it.  Love the game.   Be a good sport when you win, lose and watch matches. Be a role model and set a good example of the behaviour you expect from others.  Let's create a safe, fun and fair tennis environment.

Respect:  Tennis is a game for everyone.  Respect other players, parents and officials. Take responsibility for your actions.   Learn and follow the rule and the Fair Play values.  Call the score and lines loudly and fairly and leave to the official to resolve problems.
