After a morning's tennis, except for those slaving over a hot stove, around 50 members and friends were welcomed to the Village Hall with a glass of PIMMs.  And we were then treated to a delicious meal of gammon, salmon, chipolata sausages, potatoes and salad followed by strawberries and cream.    As the meal finished Murray and Raonic came on the big screen to provide the thrilling spectacle of the Men's Final.

It was a great afternoon and generated £150 profit for the Club - funds which will help us build the new Tennis Shelter next the Smokers' Shelter and overlooking the upper court.

Many thanks to Bruce who repositioned the TV aerial and put in the Freeview box; to Irene, Sandy, Arthur and Ali who provided the delicious food and to Ali, Peter and Annie who decorated the hall and to Brian for the PIMMs.
