1st Feb - Stations

  1. Floor tennis
    1. Place two cones with a tennis ball on top, on each side of the court, roughly 1m apart, to act as “goals.”
    2. The aim of the game is to use a racquet to roll the ball along the ground, and to knock off the ball from your opponent’s racquet. Play to 5 points, then swap places.
    3. If it is too easy, then move the goals further apart or further away from each other, and vice versa if it’s too difficult.
  2. Take down
    1. Assign each player a colour.
    2. In order to score a point, each player must use an underarm feed to hit a cone of their colour.
    3. To take another player down, they must hit their colour spot using an underarm feed.
    4. If they hit a cone of another player’s colour after hitting their spot, they take them down, and that player needs to sit out for 30 seconds.
    5. The player with the most points at the end of the time is the winner.
    6. Add or take away cones to change the difficulty.
  3. Lives
    1. Each player gets 3 lives
    2. If they hit a forehand and it goes in, they do not lose a life and rejoin the back of the line.
    3. If they hit a forehand and it goes out, or into the net, they lose a life.
    4. If they are on zero lives, they become a catcher.
    5. If they catch the ball with two hands, before it bounces twice, they swap places with the other player, regardless of how many lives they have. They receive one bonus life only.
  4. Serving shalom
    1. When a yellow line is free, each player should take a ball from the bucket and get set up on the yellow line to serve.
    2. Each player should call out which colour they’re serving to.
    3. Make sure that their palms are open, their racquets are behind their heads and that they know that it’s okay to not hit the ball if they’re not happy with it.
    4. The players score 1 point for hitting it into the area, and 3 points for hitting the coloured spot.
