Hemyock Tennis Club

Hemyock Tennis Club is the perfect place.  

Whether you're a competitive player looking to play league matches and/or improve your LTA rating, an intermediate player looking to improve your game, or a complete novice who simply wants to give this enjoyable sport a try, our friendly and supportive club will help you achieve your goals.

We have players from all the surrounding areas, Culmstock, Wellington, Cullompton, Taunton, Honiton, Churchinford, Smeatharpe, Trull, Blagdon, Willand, so you may well meet friends.  We are always looking for new people to join.  Whether you want to play every week or once a year we look forward to meeting you.

Social Tennis

Social Tennis are organised to suit all abilities and members communicate their availabilty through the club WhatsApp group.  The sessions are run on the following days and times every week:

• Tuesday evening from 6.00pm to 9.00pm (free)
• Thursday evening from 6:30pm  to 9:00pm (free)
• Saturday morning from 10:00am to 12: 30pm (free)
• Sunday afternoon from 2.00pm to 5.00pm (Free)
• Cardio tennis session with Dan Thursday 9.00am (pay as you go)
• Rusty Racckets session with Dan Friday 10.00am (pay as you go)

Open to all members. Non members pay extra fees. 

Junior Tennis

Please note all juniors must be supervised by a parent/guardian whilst at the club playing outside of a coaching session, tennis camp or an organised club activity.

Floodlights

The LED floodlights are operated by the token machine outside the pavilion.  A £2 token available from the Spar Shop in Station Road, gives 30 minutes floodlighting on one court. Operating instructions are shown at the token machine.   Please note that the floodlights will switch off automatically at 9:30 pm, regardless of how much token value has been entered.
