Tennis Section
HSTRC welcomes new members of all standards and ages. We provide opportunities for competitive and social play.
The club welcomes non-members to come and use the facilities.
The Club is an LTA affiliated club and is a "Tennismark" accredited venue.
- 4 all weather courts with LED lights. Members priority booking 12 days ahead. (free in daylight).
- Mens, womens and mixed teams in summer and winter leagues
- An annual club tournament and other events.
- Social events throughout the year
-Newsletter/club update comes via email. General tennis whatsapp group too.
Book your court on-line. (remember to log in first so you wont be charged for daytime tennis)
A court planner is posted on whatsapp group and notice board -this shows regular coaching sessions and Clubnights to help you plan your play. check website for speific date as matches will be on there as well.
Non-members can book courts 48 hrs ahead . Available courts will show on the booking screen
- £12 per hour on courts 1-4 , resurfaced in 2021.
- £20 per hour per court includes floodlights.
- Book and pay on line and then just come and play.

The Head Coach Andrew Griffiths was awarded H and W Performance Coach of the Year 2021.
