Finlay McDonald Tennis Scotland apprentice

Rothiemurchus and Aviemore Tennis Club Finlay McDonald (right) was at the Murrray Trophy this week, getting his Tennis Scotland apprenticeship induction with some help from Jamie Murray. Finlay's apprenticeship is being hosted by RATC, where he will be helping deliver and build the number of members and coaching programme within the club. Smash it over the next year developing tennis Finlay!

8U Galbraith Highland mini tennis leagues conclude

Well done to all the teams who took part in the 8u finals of the Galbraith Highland mini tennis leagues. Congratulations to the winners Elgin Tennis Club A. Runnerup Bellfield Park A. Thank you to Rothiemurchus & Aviemore Tennis Club for the use of their amazing facilities. 12 teams took part in the leagues including Inverness Tennis & Squash Club, Newtonmore Tennis Club, Tain Tennis Club, Lossiemouth Tennis Club - Marine Park, Rothes TC, Grantown TC, Rothiemurchus &Aviemore TC.

Kilgraston Inter District

Well done to all players who represented the Highlands and competed at the 2019 Scottish Inter-District Championships at Kilgraston April 2019. It was great to see that our team this year was made up of players from 4 different clubs, showing that up here in the Highlands we have talent across the whole district.

Highland Tour 2019 starts with a bang!

Highland Tour 12u was won by Lewis from Elgin, runner up Alex from Bellfield. Winner of the consolation Archie from Grantown. 14 players played lots of great tennis with great attitude. Well done all. Highland Tour 10u and 15u tournaments Bellfield Park today (sunday 31st March). Winner of 10u Hamish from Rothes and 15u Jack from Bellfield. The blue sky was a bonus !
