At Hythe we have around 20 teams competing in various local leagues at weekends and during the week over the summer and winter. We currently have six teams in the Kent League, seven in the Ashford League and six in the Dover & District League.

Whilst we try to give anyone who is interested in match play the opportunity to play for our teams, a certain standard of play and understanding of doubles tactics is required. Whether players meet this standard is determined by our coaches. Teams are kept relatively small in order to build a good team dynamic and effective partnerships but there is plenty of opportunity for reserves to play when the core team members are not available. Full membership of HLTC is required to join a team.
