Our Head Coach , Andrew Bird is an LTA Level 4 Accredited+ Coach, an LTA qualified Competition Organiser and a Licensed Tournament Referee.
Andrew has taught tennis to players of all standards for over 20 years and enjoys passing on his enthusiasm for the game and helping people improve. He has worked at clubs, parks and schools throughout the UK.
He studied sports science and recreation management at Loughborough University where he represented the University as men's tennis captain and as a basketball team player. He still competes regularly on the ITF Masters Circuit throughout Europe and has been ranked in the top 300 worldwide within his age group.
Andrew coaches individuals and groups at Worplesdon Tennis Club in Guildford , Surrey.
