Andrew Bird runs Grade 4 and Grade 5 LTA Youth Tournaments and Grade 6 LTA Youth Matchplays at various venues throughout Surrey.

This term Andrew is running Grade 4 & 5 events for all age groups from 10U to 18U for Weybridge Tennis Academy at St. George's College. These are one-day events taking place on weekends during term time - view tournament dates and further info here.

We will be running 8 junior events over the May half term school holidays at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford. There will be LTA Grade 5 one-day tournaments for all age groups from 8U to 18U during the period from 24th - 29th May 2026:

LTA Youth Matchplay events give young players a chance to play other juniors of a similar age and ability level with a format designed to give players a positive competitive experience with the emphasis on participation. There is no minimum standard or club membership required. There’s lots of quick matches and no overall winner - it’s all about getting on court and having fun!

LTA Grade 5 competitions are one-day events designed to bring together local juniors of all levels for competitive matches in a tournament format. These "Local Tour" competitions give young players their first opportunity to earn LTA Ranking points and work on improving their game in a matchplay environment. 

There are limited spaces for all events - entries are accepted for all Matchplays and Grade 5 events on a "first come - first served" basis.
