Valeria, who is coached by Jimmy Callus at Wigmore Tennis Club, and trains in the Junior Academy, won Saturday's final 6-1, 6-4. Isabel Waring, who lives and trains in Barcelona, was a tough opponent, and had already knocked out another Wigmore junior, Tallulah Robb, earlier in the tournament.

Valeria also had a great run in the 14&Under tournament, reaching the final and losing narrowly in a championship tie-break to Prianka Dhokia who is ranked no. 3 in Leicestershire in this age group.
