La Manga Trip - 16th/17th - 21st September
After a hugely successful 2025 trip to La Manga, I am running a repeat trip in September 2026. Spaces are very limited (as we already have 18 repeat bookings from last year). I hope that you will find the answers to all your questions about the trip here.
When are we going?
The trip is from Wednesday 16th September to Monday 21st September 2026, with tennis/padel coaching booked from Friday 18th September to Monday 21st September, and some pickleball courts booked for Thursday 17th. Players can choose to arrive either on the Wed evening or the Thu evening.
How much does the trip cost and when is the final payment due?
Players who are paying for a bed (sharing a twin/doule room) from Wednesday until Monday- total cost £665. (£610 if arriving on Thu and staying in La Quinta or Los Olivos).
Players who are paying for their own room within a 2-bedroom apartment from Wednesday until Monday - total cost £950 (£840 if arriving on Thu and staying in La Quinta or Los Olivos).
Players who are paying for tennis only - total cost £320.
Each player will pay a £250 deposit (due Jan 2026) and the remaining balance is due to Julia Searle in July 2026.
What's included in the price?
Airport transfers (see flights included below), four or five nights accommodation, the tennis/padel/court time listed below, a welcome drink on the first day, and a La Manga Club Academy t-shirt.
How are we getting there?
All players are responsible for organising their own flights to the club. The closest airport is Murcia, followed by Alicante. I have arranged a transfer (both directions) for those travelling on the following flights. These transfers are included in your price. Those of you who are flying separately will be responsible for organising your own transfers.

Where are we going?
La Manga Racquets Club is part of La Manga Club. At the racquets club, there are 22 tennis courts, 6 padel courts and 5 pickleball courts. La Manga Club is a self-contained large resort community, not to be confused with La Manga del Manor, which refers to the strip of land (nearby).
How much tennis will we play?
We have arranged for 8 hours of tennis coaching, a 90 minute padel coaching session, and 4 hours of tennis court time where we will organise our own social tennis games. Players will have the opportunity to book and pay for additional court time once at the club - this could be tennis, padel or pickleball.
What are the apartments like?
We have booked 6 x Sunrise Apartments. Each apartment has two bedrooms, and therefore can accommodate 2-4 people, depending on whether you have selected your own room or to share a room. These have a communal pool (as we have the whole block, it will just be used for our group). We also have additional accommodation (in 2 bedroom apartments) at either La Quinta or Los Olivos (only 5 mins walk from the others), which also both have a communal pool.
What options are there for food and drink?
Food and drink is not included (apart from a welcome drink on Friday after our first tennis coaching session). The apartments are self-catering. There is a supermarket very close to the apartments/tennis club. If you would rather than self-cater, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars etc. all within a short walk of our apartments which are very centrally located. We will aim to eat all together as a group on the Thursday evening at the racquets club (for those who have arrived on the Wed evening), and again on either the Fri OR the Sat evening to include those who are only coming late on the Thu.
