Kennington Park

With a long and fascinating history, Kennington Park has areas managed for heritage and areas with a more modern layout. The park has many mature and historic trees as well as open areas for wildlife and biodiversity. The park also has a popular café, an 'old English' flower garden, rose beds and a new 'Green Link' connecting the older Victorian park to a newer extension.

Kennington is also one of Lambeth's 12 Green Flag Award-winning parks. The Green Flag Award recognises the considerable achievements made by everybody to provide the community with a green space we can all be proud of.

Other sports facilities within the park include an all weather pitch, basketball courts, cricket nets and netball courts.

The closest station to Kennington Park is Oval Underground station, with Kennington and Vauxhall both within a 15 minute walk. Bus routes include the 36, 185, 46 and N136.
