Kent Elms Tennis Club

Kent Elms Tennis Club is a small friendly club with very nice facilities, which include three state of the art, looped pile, artificial grass courts, each with floodlights. There is also a modern clubhouse and a large car park.

The club is owned by its members so we have no landlords and pay no rent. This means that every penny paid in membership fees is spent on improving the facilities.

Membership is available to everyone from advanced players to beginners.

There are usually four social sessions a week which are on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 7pm, and on Saturday afternoons from 1pm, and Sunday mornings from 10am.

For those who wish to play in competitive matches, we run ten Ladies, Men's and Mixed teams in the local league, from Division 1 down.

If singles is your thing, why not join our club Box League.

There is also coaching available from former Mexican international, Jeronimo Sanchez.

We have a very strong social side and run several functions which include the Chinese Meal, Music Quiz & Karaoke Night; the Superstars Banquet; our Quiz Night; and the Christmas Party.

The postcode SS2 6UN does not naturally take you to the club. Instead, SS2 6RH takes you close to the start of Aviation Way. Proceed down Aviation Way for 0.3 miles until you come to a sharp right hand bend. The 4th aeriel picture shown above right gives you the view coming up Aviation Way. Straight ahead, on the corner, is a company called Swiftclean. Going round the sharp right hand bend, look for the car park gates, 50 yards along on the left. The car park can be seen in the picture, with the courts behind the Swiftclean building.
