Benefits for adults from playing tennis
Tennis gets you out into the fresh air, helps you get fit and meeting new and interesting people. It's not unusual to make new lifetime friends even after a few coaching lessons and we pride ourselves on helping create a warm, family-friendly atmosphere .
Sure you may never play tennis like Roger Federer or Serena Williams, but we know you can enjoy the sport for all the fun, social and competitive sides whether you are young or old, male or females, new to the sport or an advanced player.
A study published by the British Journal of Sports Medicine concluded that people who play tennis appear to have significant health benefits such as improved aerobic fitness, a lower body fat %, better blood lipid profile, a reduced risk for developing cardiovascular disease, and improved bone health than those who did not play tennis.
