The LTA Members Ballot Opt In window for The Championships 2021, will open early in the New Year (rather than September as per prior years).

We will update LTA Members* on the opening date of Opt In and how to apply nearer the time.

Please be aware that the Wimbledon Public Ballot operated by The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) will not take place for The Championships 2021.

The Annual General meeting of the Tennis Club is to be held on Zoom on Thursday 4th February 2021, starting at 7.30pm.

Rear Clubhouse development

Steve and Julie Chandler have transformed the rear of the Clubhouse. New toilets and washbasins have been put in, the showers removed and two cupboards with shelving have gone in their place. The whole area has been decorated, with new lighting, carpet, benches and mirrors. A transformation. Outside the covered area is clad in white UPVC. This is all an exciting time for the Club and represents the final phase of refurbishment. My hearty Thanks go to Jeff Arlott and all he has done to manage this.

Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives

Lockdown looks likely to continue in to March . 

The Prime Minister has today (27 January) announced the intention of the Government to set out during w/c 22 February its plan for how the lockdown in England may be eased, indicating that this will involve a gradual and phased relaxing of restrictions.  Ahead of this, the LTA will continue its discussions with Government on the safe resumption of tennis activity as a naturally socially distant sport.  

Keep well, and hopefully, see you some of you at our AGM on the 4th Feb on Zoom at 7.30pm.
