Ledbury Tennis Club launches new low cost annual membership for young adults

Ledbury Tennis Club has launched a special new rolling membership for anyone between the ages of
18 and 25, costing £36 per year for unlimited access to the courts, 7 days a week, between 8am and
10pm.

The Young Adult membership can start at any time during the winter or summer months and
continues for the full 12 month period, equating to a monthly cost of £3, or £0.75p a week.
Launched to encourage more young people to participate in tennis locally and join the club, anyone
interested can join at any time and the club is open all year round, with play continuing through the
winter if the weather permits.

The Young Adult Membership also includes access to the club’s social tennis sessions that run at
various times during the week and the weekend. For any player that hasn’t been on court for a
while, the Rusty Racket session on a Wednesday evening would be an option. Complete beginners
are also welcome, although coaching is not included in the membership rate.
With the full adult membership costing £156 per year, this new rolling Young Adult rate at £36 is
significantly lower in price.

Membership Secretary John Admans, said: “We think our normal full adult membership for 12
months of unlimited tennis at £156 is fantastic value, but for those aged between 18 and 25, the
chance to play as munch tennis as you like for under £1 a week surely must be the best value sport
and fitness proposition in the area. It’s worth pointing out that this membership is not only available
for the slightly quieter winter months, although we are hoping to see new members join now, but
also applies through the summer too. We really think this is a great opportunity for young adults in
or around Ledbury to join a tennis club and be part of a growing group of tennis players of all levels.”
