- Late entries will only be accepted at the Box League Manager's discretion.
- Only enter if you expect to be able to organise and complete all your matches within the timeframe.
NEW JOINERS
- You will need to have linked LLTC as a venue you subscribe to.
- You will be placed in a division based on known results or self-assessed proficiency recorded when joining the club.
ARRANGING MATCHES
- At the start of the league, you will be assigned to your WhatsApp division group chats. You can use this or contact players directly to arrange matches.
- You are responsible for booking and arranging your own match fixtures between yourselves. Court booking pages are available via the Courts page of the website.
MATCHES
- Matches are best of three sets. You should play normal sets.
- If both players agree, you can play a championship tie break for the third set - first to ten points (plus two clear points).
RECORDING RESULTS
- Results are recorded in the official LTA Winter Box League
- Results will count toward your WTN rating
- All results must be duplicated into the Singles Ladder
RETIREMENTS AND WALKOVERS
- Mid-game retirements can be recorded as so, with the other person awarded the match. However, points will only be earned by players who have won completed sets.
- If you make reasonable efforts to arrange matches, but your opponent is unresponsive or is unable to play due to injury, you may record a walkover and be awarded the match. This will count as having completed the match (unplayed), however, you will not earn any points for this.
DIVISION TABLE SCORING
- For each set won you earn one point.
- The table standings are based on:
1. Points
2. Matches won
3. Set difference
4. Game percentage
5. Games won
6. Head-to-head
