Welcome to Lennel Tennis Club!

Nestled in the Scottish Borders town of Coldstream, Lennel Tennis Club is a friendly, thriving club for beginners and experienced players alike. Our members and committee are here to help you learn, improve, compete—and enjoy tennis.

Tennis has been played here since the late 1800s. We now have three all-weather courts, refurbished in 2013, set in peaceful, well-maintained private grounds surrounded by trees and greenery. There’s outdoor seating for spectators, courtside benches for players, and convenient on-site parking.

Members have access to our clubhouse with kitchen and bathroom facilities. Guests are welcome to join a member on court a couple of times a year, and non-members can hire a court for a small fee. If you play regularly, we encourage you to become a full member to enjoy all club benefits. The access code for our combination locks is available from Dalgleish’s Garage on Coldstream High Street.

We offer coaching for juniors and adults, plus regular social and fundraising events. For competitive play, our teams represent Lennel TC in men’s, ladies’ and mixed Tennis Borders league matches.
