Lennel Tennis Club Coldstream

Hello from us all at Lennel Tennis Club, a fun, friendly and thriving sports facility in the Scottish Borders town of Coldstream. Whatever your age or ability, our committee and members will be happy to welcome you here to learn, improve, compete, but above all, enjoy the game of tennis.

Tennis has been played on this site since the late 1800s. Today, three all-weather courts, refurbished in 2013, are set within beautiful, maintained private grounds, bordered by trees and shrubbery. There are benches on court, outside seating for spectators and a spacious car parking area.

As a member you’ll have access to a clubhouse, with a bathroom and kitchen equipped with everything you need to serve food and drinks. But you don’t have to be a member to play. Guests can accompany a member, and non-members are more than welcome too. Courts can be hired for a small fee and deposit, with keys readily available from Dalgleish's Garage on Coldstream’s High Street. 

There’s a lively programme at Lennel, with coaching and tournaments for both adults and juniors, as well as a number of social and fundraising events organised throughout the year. There’s also an opportunity to play competitively, as Lennel Tennis Club teams participate in the annual Tennis Borders league matches.
