Our philosophy is to deliver quality coaching, enthusing players of all ages and abilities enabling everyone to play to a level beyond their expectations.Mark Thomas Tennis has developed due to the demand for tennis coaching in the area and Mark now has a team of coaches working alongside him.

About Mark - Having played to county level as a junior, Mark then followed a career in service industries until his lifelong passion for tennis drew him back to the sport and he has now been coaching full time in the area since 2008. He continues to play doubles league tennis and holds the Over 45’s Wiltshire Closed Men’s Doubles title.

Mark is an LTA qualified Senior Club Coach (Level 4) and mentors new coaches through their coaching qualifications. He has been Head Coach at Lechlade Tennis Club since 2007 as well as having more recently been appointed as Head Coach at Uffington Tennis Club. Mark is now also involved in bringing together a fully comprehensive junior coaching programme at Faringdon Tennis Club, along with the existing team of coaches.

Under his guidance each club offers a fully inclusive term time coaching programme for juniors incorporating the LTA’s mini tennis scheme. The clubs also offer various adult groups ranging from complete beginner through to the more serious league and county players.

The junior players also benefit from his well established and highly popular holiday camps.

He has quickly built a reputation for getting the best results out of each player through his calm encouraging demeanour and through his ability to evaluate players’ strengths and weaknesses to offer rapid improvement in their technical and tactical games.

Mark is also the first point of contact for tennis coaching at the exclusive Lakes by Yoo resort.
