Michael Greedy Coaching

MTG Tennis has been coaching children and adults at Portishead Lawn Tennis Club for the past 11 years. The coaching programme has grown over this time to be a thriving and enjoyable development programme for all ages and abilities. 

Coaching starts from the age of 3 using the appropriate ball colour and mini courts to develop basic tennis skills. This leads into moving up through the squads as the children get older and their skills improve.  We have many children and adult players competeing regulary in local leagues, LTA tournaments, University squads, County up, ITF tournaments and even representing GB.

Meet the Coaches:

Mike Greedy – LTA Level 4 Senior Club Coach with 15 years coaching experience at PLTC. Mike is often at the club running group coaching or private lessons for all ages and abilites. 
Mike regulary competes in County Cup, ITF tournaments and also currently represents the Royal Air Force and UK Armed Forces in their first team. 

Dom Boylan – LTA Level 3 with 10 years coaching experience. Dom works at multipule venues running tennis sessions across Bristol.  Dom works at PLTC running the squads and providing 1 to 1 coaching. Dom has previsloy competed at a high level as a junior and currently plays for PLTC in Avon 1st divison. 

The coaching team have been selected for their passion, knowldege and ability to deliver quality tennis coaching. All of the coaches have competed at a strong tennis level and they use these skills to educate, encourgae and support players. They're all LTA qualified, DBS checked, safeguarding trained and all have the relevent first aid qualifications.
