Finals day for the Junior Club Championships produced some fantastic tennis throughout all the age groups. Early rounds were held throughout September with some exceptionally tight matches giving us finals that were great to watch.
Daciana pipped Briony in an excellent two-hour marathon to claim the Under 18 Girls Singles title. Special thanks go to Lucy de la Motte for doing a brilliant job as umpire.
Daciana and Briony then teamed up to win the Girls Doubles title against Freya and Zara.
Alfie and Josh came from two match points down to defeat Mayank and Surya in the third set tie break in an epic Boys Doubles final.
Surya then returned to court to retain his U15 Boys singles title against Arthur.
Theo and Bertie battled hard in the U11 boys singles, with Theo managing to come out on top after some incredible rallies.
Still to come in this years Junior Club Championships is the U15 Girls Singles final where Dac and Briony are due to meet again. The U18 Boys Final sees Surya playing Mayank. Reports on this and the U11 Girls Singles to follow.
