2025 AGM - Tuesday 25th February at 7.30 pm

The club AGM is to be held on Tuesday 25th February at 7.30pm in the clubhouse. All members are welcome.

Agenda

  1. Approve the minutes of the previous AGM
  2. The Committee report - here
  3. The Treasurer's report and approval of the accounts - here
  4. Club conversion to a SCIO: the existing committee unanimously agree that the club should convert from its current unincorporated structure to become an incorporated entity and charity in the form of a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) regulated by OSCR. The change includes required changes to the club constitution to meet the requirements of OSCR. The new committee will become trustees for the club but will continue to manage the club in line with the constitution. Membership approval for the change is requested by the committee.
  5. Subscriptions for the coming season (propose as per last season with the same early bird and full rate offers).
  6. Visitor's levy for the coming season (propose maintain as per last year).
  7. Election of committee for the coming season.

Regarding the committee, both Leslie Campbell and Jason Preston have intimated they wish to stand down.  John O’Brien and Scott Pringle have both offered to stand for election.

Committee note: the conversion to a SCIO is a significant change but is in line with LTA governance recommendations. Where attendance at the AGM is not possible the committee will accept apologies and votes from members for or against the proposal. These votes must be sent to the club email account, from a known member email account, and be received prior to the day of the AGM. These votes will be added to those cast at the AGM.
