League Tennis
Ombersley Tennis & Padel Club have various Men's, Ladies' and Mixed teams playing competitive tennis in the Herefordshire & Worcestershire County Tennis Leagues.
We are delighted to be adding a new Ladies C team and a new Mixed D team for Summer 2026.
We have 3 Ladies' teams in the Summer 2026 league and had 3 Ladies' teams in the Winter 2025/26 league. In the Winter 2026 league, the Ladies' A team maintained their position in division 4 east, the Ladies' B team won division 7 east and gain promotion next Winter and the Ladies' C team were runners up in division 8 east and gain promotion next Winter. From Winter 2026 we are adding a Ladies' D team for the Winter league.
We have 4 Mixed teams in the Summer 2026 league and had 3 Mixed teams in Winter 2025/6 league. In the Winter 2025/2026 league, the Mixed A team won division 5 east and gain promotion next Winter, the Mixed B team won division 8 east and gain promotion next Winter, and the Mixed C team maintained their position in division 8 east.
We have 3 Men's teams in the Summer 2026 league and had 3 teams in the Winter 2025/26 league. In the Winter season, the Men's A team won division 5 east and gain promotion next winter, the Men's B team maintained their position in division 9 east and the Men's C team were runners up in division 12 and gain promotion next Winter.
We try and offer as many members as possible the chance to represent the Club in one of our teams. We have added additional teams in Summer 2026 to give more members the opportunity to enjoy matches against other clubs. We are delighted to be able to include juniors in teams to support them in developing their tennis.
