Sessions = Friday 26th April and Friday 3rd May 2024. 1:00PM - 2:00PM This is a coach-led introduction to walking tennis. Getting those involved playing tennis immediately with the adapted rules and enjoying the game! What is walking tennis? Walking tennis is a version of tennis that’s designed to be accessible for all. It’s still tennis – but with a few simple modifications: you can’t run or jump; you use slightly different balls, and you can let the ball bounce twice for added time. Walking Tennis is for anyone who wants to play tennis, but at their own pace. It’s ideal for: previous players, absolute beginners, those recovering from injury, those looking to become more active and support a healthier lifestyle etc. If this proves to be a popular course, this can become a regular weekly fixture within the adult coaching programme.
