Oxton Cricket & Sports Club

Welcome to the tennis section of Oxton Cricket & Sports Club! At Oxton Tennis we cater for all types of player. Set in the beautiful grounds of Oxton Cricket & Sports Club, the section benefits from the use of four hard courts and two seasonal grass courts.

In the summer, we field two teams in the Wirral Tennis Mixed League which runs on a Tuesday evening from the end of April until the end of July. Matches start at 6:15pm. Each team comprises of four men and four women who play mens and ladies doubles and then mixed matches.

In addition to this, we have 2 Men's Summer and Winter League Teams which usually play on Sunday morning at 10am.

If you would prefer to be involved in social tennis, throughout the summer season we play socially on a Saturday afternoon from 2pm onwards (followed by drinks in the bar!) We also hold a monthly friendly tournament, the first Sunday every month at 2:30pm followed by a BBQ and cakes afterwards! A summer friendly league team runs on a Thursday evening as well throughout the season.
