Karen Johnson was presented with a cheque for £308 from Tesco Charity Champion, Sam Edmondson.

The money was raised through the sale of second hand books on Tesco's Community Book Stand in July and will go towards the cost of replacement parts and maintenance of a defibrillator, installed for use by Park members and for the community.

Park members raised money in 2022 for the defibrillator by holding a cream tea afternoon and a bonfire supper and raffle.
