Dear Members,

The AGM and Club Annual Meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Sunday 26th September 2021 at the Clubhouse - all members of the Club are invited to attend. 

However, numbers will be limited due to social distancing and masks must be worn. 

This is your chance to meet the Committee, discuss any thoughts you may have on the activities and administration of the Club over the last year and looking forward.

The key changes to the Club Rules and Court Booking and Play Regulations are:

Club Rules: 

3.4       Reworded to reflect how membership applications take place now, and the sentence about subscriptions reducing during the year moved to 3.5.

3.6       Extended to cover all policies and procedures.

5.1       Added Young Adults being allowed to sit on the Committee.

6          Updated to reflect how visitors are logged and paid for at the club.  No individual person shall be a visitor more than 10 times in a season (increased from 5 times).

Court Booking and Play Regulations:

1.1       Reflects that court should always be booked now.

1.5       The limit of 6 bookings per week has been deleted.

1.7       The limit on 6 balls per court has been amended.

2          This has been simplified so that full adults, young adults and juniors aged 11 and over can all book any court at any time. Under 11s can book any court at any time apart from after 6pm on weekdays. The distinction between the different court surfaces is no longer necessary.

4          Deleted Sunday club play and added Thursday morning men's session.

5          Added Thursday Cardio to Pay & Play sessions. Deleted the specific timings of the junior programme as these seem to change from time to time. Allowed more flexibility for where and when individual coaching can take place.

The changes to the Club Rules need to be approved by at least a two-thirds vote of all Members present or voting by proxy at the AGM.
