A sunny Sunday 6th April saw 20 PTC members take part in the annual Spring Tournament. Six rounds of tennis were played with random pairings but normal games scoring, leading to some exciting matches and occasionally multiple deuces!

Participants enjoyed some food midway through the afternoon to keep them sustained for the later rounds and then relaxed afterwards while the important task of adding the scores took place.

The eventual winners were:

1st place Marcus Cullen – 34 games

2nd place Elena Churikova – 28 games

Joint 3rd place Toby Barton, Florence Davisseau and Anthony Boyle – 27 games
