We hope you are enjoying your summer.

This note is just a friendly reminder for members that the club runs a tennis ball recycling scheme, with the collection bin on the club house veranda.

If you have any used tennis balls that are of decent quality, please place the balls in the bin which is marked for ball recycling. They will be collected and recycled through a third party provider. 

The organisation we use for the recycling then gifts some of the balls to animal charities, provides cash donations to other charities and also sends us a cash sum, which is used to help run the club.

Please do not remove the tennis balls once other members have placed them in to the recycling bin.  

We do end up with some balls which are not good enough quality to be recycled, which we can provide to members for use as dog balls etc.  If you would like these balls please contact Jon Fursland (jpfursland@hotmail.com).
