About Us - Wiltshire LTA Club of the year 2018
Although the Club was formed in 1947, significant development of the Club has only happened over the past 20 years due mainly to the enthusiastic and supportive club membership and with strong leadership from various Chairmen during this period.
Club Constitution:
Pewsey Tennis Club Rules and Regulations are in place in order to:
- Enable members to know their rights and to understand the required discipline.
- Allow the Committee to implement the rules and apply the regulations on behalf of the members.
- Provide an adequate legal constitution for dealing with formal matters – leases or land purchase, licensing, taxation, rating relief, loan procurement, general finances, etc. For some of these purposes the Rules will be subjected to outside scrutiny by other authorities and they must conform to certain requirements.
