Club coaches Jon & Martin played doubles aganist club members in a 24 hour marathon starting at 10:00 am on 1 April and completing at 10:00 am on 2 April.  The target of raising £2,000 for Cancer Research UK was smashed as over £6,000 was raised! A massive well done to Martin & Jon and a huge thank-you to all those people who played the coaches, supported them through the event and/or donated to the worthy cause (donate at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/martinandjon24hrtennis).

From 10:30-12:30, a roll-up tournament was run for members by club vice president Amandsa Foxton, followed by a presentation of 2022 club awards by club chair Clare Bamforth.   An excellent lunch was then available to all, all prepared and dontated by club members. After lunch, Keith Hampson unveiled the new club ball machine and remaining players had fun trying it out - instructions for its use are available via the Bookings page and via the News page, a paper copy is on the club Adults noticeboard; please read carefully before using the machine and be safe.

club awards  Roll-up tournament will then be held for members, starting at 10:00 am on 2 April; club members will be allocated to Mixed Pairs for each round of the Roll-Up Competition.
