Despite a slightly soggy start with play delayed by rain, the sun eventually broke through and our Mixed Open Tournament got underway in great spirits.

A fantastic 24 players took to the courts, showing off plenty of skill and good humour throughout the day. Thanks to the generosity of all who took part, we are proud to share that the event raised £350 for Prospect Hospice, supporting the wonderful work they do in our community.

After some close matches, the tournament champions were crowned: Angie Baldock and Christian Blair – huge congratulations to them both. Runners-up were Alec Choules and Sarah Sims.

Thank you to everyone who played, spectated, and supported. It was a brilliant day of tennis and fundraising.
