1. COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT
Coaching is led by our head coach Dan Burgess. Dan has a wealth of experience and can help players of all levels and ages improve their game or take their first steps into tennis.

2. MEMBERSHIPS
Whatever your level, we'd love to welcome you to the club as a member. Visit the membership hub to see all available packages, including our 3-month trial.

3. PAY & PLAY
You can book courts as a non-member. For £5 per half hour during the day, and £6 per half hour in the evening with floodlights included.
Already registered with the LTA, then go to the Booking section, otherwise register then proceed to booking.
Once booked, you'll receive a one-off code to access via the main entrance off Esplanade Road.
A Warm Welcome To The Club
Portishead Tennis Club is a thriving local club with 5 all-weather LED floodlit courts located at Portishead Lake Grounds. We currently have over 300 members from ages 3 to 75+.
Throughout the year we offer:
- Regular club social sessions
- Juniors and Adult training and fun improvers sessions
- For experienced players, we have regular training and teams entered in both the Avon Winter and Summer Leagues
- A thriving junior section with teams competing in local leagues
- A variety of tournaments and events throughout the year for full members.
- Regular social events
- Cardio tennis for both members and non-members

The club (Portishead Tennis Club Ltd.) is not for profit and is run entirely by volunteer members.
About
The club was founded in 1924. It has seen off two world wars, and witnessed the transformation of Portishead from a small town known for its coal power station and soot-laden air, to elegant marina location. We are very lucky to have a beautiful spot in the Lake Grounds, and although we are right on the coast, you will find that the sea defences give us a surprising amount of protection from the prevailing South Westerly winds that blow in from the Atlantic.
Our main purpose is to provide facilities for the people of Portishead to play tennis, and to encourage participation. Portishead has grown hugely over the last few years, and we are fortunate to have been able to expand our playing facilities to 5 courts all of which are also available to hire via pay and play for non-members.
We do hope you will enjoy playing at our club.

Please use the clubspark membership pages to apply for new memberships or to renew memberships (after logging in using your LTA credentials of course). Please note that all payments must now be processed using the integrated GoCardless facility - please do not use bank transfers. Please also take a moment to make sure your contact details are correct including DOB for Junior and Young Adult members in particular.
