Do you want to try tennis? Do you already play, and want to try out our excellent courts? Are you looking for coaching for your children? We are having an open day on 05 May. Come along to have a hit on the courts, meet some of the club members, talk to the coaches, find out about the courses for juniors and adults. We have rackets, we have balls, we have refreshments, we have games, we have prizes! So just bring yourselves - come along and have fun.

Our Centenary Year is Here - Portishead Tennis Club turns 100!

This year marks a special landmark for tennis in Portishead with the club officially 100 years old. Over the past few years the club has expanded significantly with new floodlit courts accessible via Pay and Play, and now offers much improved facilities on and off the court. There has never been a better time to get involved with the club! We will be marking the occassion with a number of special events, so keep an eye out for announcements soon. 

2024/25 Membership Packages are now live!

For current members you can access early-bird rates for renewing your existing membership by logging into your clubspark account and going to your profile. Use the pulldown menu in the very top right of the webpage, select your name, and then locate "Your memberships" page on your profile. Failing that, look out for a personalised link to renew your memberships that will also sent by email shortly. This year we have added the flexibility of payment by instalments, so you can choose to split the cost over 2 or 4 months depending on the category.

New to the club? Interested in coaching and/or becoming a member. Then please either get in touch with MTG tennis to discuss coaching options, contact portisheadtennis@gmail.com for general enquires or go to the membership page to sign up directly, This includes an option for a 3 month trial if that suits you best.

PAY and PLAY Courts

You can now book a court as a non-member, at certain times. To do this, go to the Booking section, look for courts 4 and 5, and click on a time slot with a price. If a court is already booked, it is marked with a padlock symbol.

Pay and play bookings are £4 per half hour during the day, and £5 per half hour in the evening when the floodlights come on.

When you book, you receive a one-off code number for access via the new electronic gate which is at the bottom of the steps down from Esplanade Road. Lights come on automatically - so please remember to cancel your booking (which triggers a refund and saves the lights) if you are not planning to use your booking.

At PTC we want to promote tennis for all. We have put a huge amount of effort into making these new Pay and Play courts happen, and we hope they will prove a popular new facility for the people of Portishead.
