Hello I am Brett Townsend

I am a licensed LTA Tennis Professional with a Level 4 Coaching Qualification

I have over 30 years experience in teaching tennis to all ages and abilities in the UK and around the world

I have worked in many clubs and tennis centres around the UK.  Most recently moving from David Lloyd Poole as racquets manager for the past 10 years.  I have also been lucky enough to of taught around America, Australia, New zealand and also parts of Europe.

I enjoy working with all levels of tennis player as I feel I have the experience to help develop anybody at whatever stage they are at within their tennis journey.

I have played tennis professionally both as a junior and as an adult, competing in events in the UK and around the world.  

In 2013 I managed to obtain a World Ranking as a senior tennis player.  And enjoyed being part of the Dorset over 35's County Champions team in 2014

In November 2019 I was awarded the Dorset Tennis Coach of the Year Award and in 2020 we were awarded the Community Club of the year for Dorset

I am available for 1-2-1 Tennis Lessons priced at £35 per hour or £18 per 30 minutes Floodlit Tennis Lessons will be £38 per hour
