About the venue

Maryon Park is one of Greenwich's Green Flag Award-winning sites. Formerly a quarry, it was once part of the estate of the Maryon Wilson family, former Lords of the Manor of Charlton. This large, hilly wooded site includes Cox’s Mount, a tree lined grass hilltop which overlooks the Thames with the Green Chain Walk running through it. There are two good quality tarmac macadam tennis courts. The Park below has a large sheltered green space used for games, sports and picnics. The park also has a children’s playground and an outdoor basketball area. Free parking available on surrounding residential roads. The park is opened at 8am and closes in line with dusk.
