Maryon Park is one of Greenwich's Green Flag Award-winning sites.
Formerly a quarry, it was once part of the estate of the Maryon Wilson family, former Lords of the Manor of Charlton. This large, hilly wooded site includes Cox’s Mount, a tree lined grass hilltop which overlooks the Thames with the Green Chain Walk running through it.
The are two good quality tarmac macadam tennis courts available for public bookings.
The Park below has a large sheltered green space used for games, sports and picnics. The park also has a children’s playground and an outdoor basketball area.
The park is opened at 8am and closes in line with dusk.
