What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
This class is for players aged 6-8. We use red balls, a smaller net and court. Players will learn lots of skills for tennis - including reading and sending the ball, agility, movement, balance and coordination drills. They will learn to serve, rally and score. All drills will be building a player's skills for tennis, even if the children are not using a racket for every drill. If you have any questions please email Chrissie at tennisschool@reeds.surrey.sch.uk. Please note we need minimum numbers to run camps & sessions. Group lessons are guaranteed to be indoors.
