About Us
The club was formed shortly after the Riddlesden War Memorial Institute opened in 1919.
New facilities, including a clubhouse and three all-weather courts (one of which is adaptable for very young players), were created in 2014. We are a very friendly club and welcome new members of all ages and ability.
The club is a registered venue with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), and aims to encourage wider participation in tennis from people living in the local and surrounding areas.
If you're interested in a free taster session, contact Philip Peters (Membership Secretary) on 07480 690391.
We offer social tennis, club tournaments, an online court booking system, and men's and friendly league teams.
Professional coaching is available in individual or group sessions.
See us on Facebook.
There is a defibrillator attached to the outside of the clubhouse. It was paid for by the fundraising efforts of members of the nearby Applegarth Club, to whom we give our thanks.
More information about the sport of tennis can be found on the LTA website and on Wikipedia.
