Although the sun didn’t shine all day, a great afternoon of tennis was had between the showers by the 8 Mixed Doubles pairs who came to compete for the Club Championship on Sunday 8th August.

The club was delighted to re-instate a tropy last awarded in 1996. There was some fantastic tennis played in good spirits with many close matches. Two groups of 4 battled it out for the chance to either head into the main draw semis and finals or the consolation event. After some very close games, the winners were Patrick Fuller and Kate Martel pictured with runners up Brad Firth and Anne- Marie Lomax.
