About the day
Tennis open day. Come along and try tennis and find out about our membership and coaching. Equipment provided. Free coaching taster sessions for 4- 9 yr olds. Accompanied hit with members for teens and adults (Slow bounce red balls make this easier for beginners). Please wear suitable trainers. Cafe open. Footgolf, driving range and bowls available on the same site.

Mini Red 6-7 yr olds

This session is an introduction to tennis. In regular coaching sessions we will aim for something that looks a bit more like the tennis you know. You’ll see overarm serves, rallies and volleys. Coach will help children to further develop their co-ordination, balance and speed. We’ll introduce relaxed competition here too

Tiny Tots 4-5 yr olds

This is an introduction to tennis. In regular coaching sessions, we’ll help kids improve their balance, agility and co-ordination while teaching them about the sport we love. At this stage it’s not about winning or losing, it’s just getting to grips with the basics.

Mini Orange 8-9 yr olds
Reserve your place!
Mini Orange is played with shorter racquets and softer balls, allowing players to develop a rounded game whilst learning a range of techniques and tactics. It’s just like the real game and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots.
