Once again Royal Wootton Bassett Tennis Club members turned out in large numbers for a New Year fun tennis tournament to shake off that holiday lethargy.   Thirty two players engaged in two hours of mix and match doubles with prizes for the most successful two men and two ladies.  

In such a spell of unsettled weather it stayed dry until the final round of matches were in play.  

Particulalry pleasing to see was the range of members taking part - aged from 16 to over 70.   This event demonstrated the enthusiasm of Club members to take every opportunity to get onto court and have fun.   An excellent way to start a new year of tennis.
