A selection of the best players from the region came to Royal Wootton Bassett Tennis Club on 11th February to compete in the LTA Tennis Tour – Seniors’ Competition.  Benign weather conditions made playing tennis much more pleasant than it has been for much of the winter and the competitors made the most of it.  Expertly organised and refereed by Samantha Kingdon-Marston of Active Academy,  the event was a great advert for competitive singles tennis.

Four players from RWB Tennis Club entered the draw, and at the end of the day, three of the four top places were held by RWB TC members.  The overall winner was our own Pedro Saviron, who did not drop a set on his way to the top spot.
