Over 30 club members opted for some fun tennis in the sun on Monday 2nd January as we held our first games of 2023.  After days of rain, the sun finally shone on the courts and members responded with some excellent play.  Over five rounds of mixed doubles, four players emerged as contestents for the deciding final.  After a highly competitive match Caitlin and Dave were crowned 'Champions of the Courts' and awarded the winners' spoils. 

Our New Year event proved popular once again for players of all abilities and shows that mixed doubles where partners change every match is a very successful format for a fun competition.
