1. WHEN DO YOU RUN TENNIS CAMPS?

 

Q. When do you run tennis camps?

A. Our tennis camps run during school holidays, including:

  • Half-term holidays

  • Easter holidays

  • Summer holidays

2. DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO BE A MEMBER?

Q. Does my child have to be a member of Dulwich Tennis Club to join the tennis camp?

No. Our tennis camps are open to both members and non-members.

However, we recommend junior players consider Junior DLTC Membership, which provides discounts on tennis programmes, camps, private lessons, and competitions, as well as opportunities to be part of our junior tennis teams.

3. MY CHILD HAS NEVER PLAYED TENNIS BEFORE

Q. My child has never played tennis before. Is it ok for him/her to do the camp?

A. Yes. Our camps are designed for children of all levels, including complete beginners.ls

4. WHAT IS THE COST?

Q. What does it cost?

A. It costs from £18 to £20 per day for younger children (1h or 1.5h) and £45 for the 4 hours camp. You can book just for the day of the whole camp. For more informatino click here

5. HOW LONG IS A SESSION?

Q. How long is a holiday camp session?

A. A lesson lasts between 1hour to 90 minutes for younger players. For the older players (9 years-old +) you can book the whole day (4 hours)

6. DO I NEED TO BOOK THE WHOLE WEEK?

Q. Do I need to book the whole week?

A. No. You can book individual days or the full week, depending on your schedule.

7. CANCELLATION

Q. What happens if I cancel the camp?

  • If you cancel less than one week before the camp starts, a 20% cancellation fee will apply.
  • If you cancel during the same week as the camp, no refund will be issued.

Please note:
If a child misses a day due to appointments, illness, parties, or other commitments, refunds or replacement sessions cannot be offered.

8. DO YOU ACCEPT CHILDCARE VOUCHERS?

 

Q. Do you accept Childcare Vouchers?

A. No, unfortunately we do not currently accept childcare vouchers.

9. WHAT DOES MY JUNIOR PLAYER NEED TO WEAR?

Q. What does my junior player need to wear?

A. Please ensure your child wears comfortable sports clothing and suitable tennis shoes.

Depending on the weather, we recommend:

  • Hot weather: cap, shorts, sunscreen
  • Cold or wet weather: warm clothing and a waterproof jacket

 

10. WHAT DOES MY JUNIOR PLAYER NEED TO BRING?

Q. What does my child need to bring?

A. Please bring:

  • A bottle of water
  • A healthy lunch box (for longer sessions)

All tennis equipment will be provided if needed.

⚠️ Please avoid any food containing nuts.

 

11. CODE OF CONDUCT

At Dulwich LTC our players are expected to respect their coaches and fellow tennis players. Under any circumstance bullying or any kind of abuse will be accepted.

Our players also are expected to keep the club premises tidy and look after the equipment they use as well as ensure the best possible attendance and punctuality.

In the event of bad behaviour during a lesson, parents will receive an email/ phone call from head coach Sebastien with further explanation.  If behaviour does not improve following two warnings the player will no longer be able to train at the club.
